President Zelensky Honors Mykolaiv Paralympians and Their Coaches for Outstanding Achievements

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded state honors to Mykolaiv Paralympians and their coaches for their exceptional performance at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris. According to the Presidential Decree No. 635/2024, issued on September 18, 2024, the athletes were recognized for their dedication, will to win, and their contribution to enhancing Ukraine’s international reputation.
Awarded Athletes:

Order of Merit, First Class: Ihor Tsvietov, two-time champion in para-athletics, for his outstanding achievements in the competition.

Order of Courage, Second Class: Serhiy Palamarchuk, two-time bronze medalist in para-swimming, for his remarkable efforts and sportsmanship.

Order of Princess Olga, Second Class: Anna Hontar, three-time bronze medalist in para-swimming, for her resilience and contribution to Ukraine's success.

Order of Princess Olga, Third Class: Iryna Shynkaryova, bronze medalist in para-table tennis, for her dedication and perseverance.
