According to Zelensky, Ukraine defended itself against 103 Shahed drones in a single night, containing 8,755 foreign-made components. Over the past week, Russia has deployed more than 630 strike drones, 740 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 50 missiles, incorporating over 50,000 globally sourced sanctioned parts.
Strengthening Sanction Measures
Despite international sanctions, Zelensky emphasized that pressure on supply chains for foreign components remains insufficient. He highlighted that Russia continues to acquire critical materials globally and utilizes them in weapons targeting Ukraine.
Call for Unified Action
The Ukrainian President reiterated the importance of enhanced cooperation with global partners on sanctions enforcement, air defense systems, long-range weapons, and support for Ukrainian forces.
